Carmina Avium is a unique app that creates relaxing ambient environments in real time as you listen.
Birdsong as an event, effects humans on a psychological and instinctual level. Research has demonstrated that the presence of birds singing allows humans to relax and focus. On an instinctual level the presence of birds singing is an indication that no predators are near.
Carmina Avium provides users with both a list of pre-made ambiance environments as well as the ability to create their own personal ambiances from a list of birds and elements provided.
Create your own personalized audio space in which to relax, focus on work, meditate or simply as an alternative to music.
Carmina Avium utilizes a unique method of audio production called Generative Audio. Generative Audio uses short sound bytes that is assembles and processes in real-time to produce a perpetual unique performance every time it is played. Your personal Birdsong Ambiance will never loop or repeat and will constantly subtly change over time in an unpredictable way just as sound in nature does.
