Six Words
While travelling in Asia I realised that even if you are visiting a country where you do not speak the language at all, there are a handful of words that would be very useful to know and that could be a great help in many situations. The number of words needs to be kept to a minimum to improve the chance of remembering them. I settled on six words. Obviously the more of a language you speak the easier it is to communicate, but these are a good starting point.
I am now going to try and collect these six words in as many different languages as possible. I will write the words down as they appear in their native written form as well as how they would be written phonetically in English but the main goal is to record these six words being spoken by native speakers so that people can listen to them and practise saying them.
